The back strap on this pistol is engraved "?. G. BAKER. GUN MANUFACTURER LONDON". Barrel is stamped "COLT" and is basically patina. The brass frame retains approximately 85% original Colt nickel plating. The bird's head grips are made of real ivory. Traces of fire blue on spur trigger. This is a Third Model manufactured 1875-1912. Sharp legends. Unusual to find an inscribed Colt pistol engraved with European dealer name.
