Manufactured 1916. This beautiful, early, single barrel trap gun features a vent rib, blued barrel, twin ivory bead sights, single trigger and composite grip cap. Retains 95% period reapplied rust blue finish. The frame features deluxe engraving of trap shooter on left side, eagle on right side and fine scroll and border decoration on all three sides. Blued trigger guard retains 98% reapplied blued finish with fine engraving. Frame retains approximately 30% original case colors. Beavertail forend and pistol grip walnut stock with deluxe Fleur-de-Lis checkering, ebony and fiery grain walnut. Added finish can be seen in the checkering. Sports a Morgan adjustable buttpad. Fine bore and action. This lovely shotgun is as tight as new and would be perfectly at home at the trap line today.
