Purchased as a set from the late William P. Harvey collection. All were standard carbines with walnut stocks in nearly new unfired condition. It would be virtually impossible to find a finer set of the classic 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine in this condition, let alone three different examples. All three, with the exception of light saddle ring mark, retain 99% of the brilliant factory blue finish with nearly pristine walnut stocks. Standard features include full round barrel, full magazine, twin barrel bands, post front sight, folding ladder rear sight, blued finish, walnut stock and saddle ring and stud. This rifle shows a 3/4" saddle ring rub on left side. No wear or loss of finish to the muzzle, not even the barrel bands. Loading gate shows no signs of ever having been fed a cartridge. Walnut stocks are near mint and proud to metal with a couple of minor storage scuffs. Even the buttplate retains all of the original blue including toe and heel, no rubs of any kind on the high edges. Right side of frame has a couple minor storage marks. As close to new as you will find. .25-35 is one of the most desired cartridges in this model. Unimprovable. Serial No. 910416 applied August 11th, 1920. No record.
