Offered is a very early black powder Damascus drilling, full matted rib stamped "FINE DAMASCUS BARRELS" with rear rifle sight and front bead, checkered round knob walnut stock with black composite pad, checkered walnut forend, left side lifter, double exposed hammers, boarder engraved frame, with teardrop locks, stamped "Charles Daily" with traces of case colors, double set triggers and lever release. All metal is basically gray patina with sharp engraving in fine Damascus pattern. Wood is excellent with no cracks and fairly sharp checkering. Top release, strong clean barrels with minor spotting, tight as new lock up. Engraved trigger guard with double set triggers. Locks up tight with minimal wiggle. This is a fine short antique drilling and should provide hours of shooting enjoyment.
