M.S.A. Co. - Gladstone Mich. U.S.A. - early "Ideal" fixed blade measuring 6"; overall 10 - 1/4". Handled in hard rubber with brass half guard. Front scale depicts a running deer while back scale marked "MARBLE SAFETY AXE CO. GLADSTONE MICH. U.S.A.". Knife has been professionally cleaned. No sheath. This is a very scarce knife. Circa pre-World War I.
