Both with blued octagonal barrels with fluted mid-sections, patent breeches numbered "1" and "2", and multi-groove rifling. Small notched rear sights and adjustable front sights. Polished steel locks with french hammers and chiseled spiraling bolsters, centers of lockplates engraved with "Muller a Lyon". Plain polished steel French target pistol style furniture, barrel wedges and escutcheons are engraved. Highly figured walnut half-stocks. Complete with original mahogany case, the lid with a vacant brass escutcheon and front with two brass latches, carry handle, and keyhole escutcheon. Fitted French interior lined with green felt. Original accessories include wooden mallet, cleaning rod, ball puller, small copper flask, wooden spare parts reservoir with extra springs, bullet mold, nipple removal wrench, oiler, and wooden ball reservoir. Excellent condition overall, showing little or no use. Barrels retain nearly all of original blue finish with only light edge wear, excellent bores. Locks and furniture excellent and bright, with only a few minor areas of light spotting, actions are crisp and function like new! Case excellent with some scattered storage marks on lid and a minor repair to cracks. Interior with some light staining and fading, accessories are commensurate with condition of pistols, flask with a few small dents on back side. This is a rare opportunity to own a well made set of target pistols, signed by the maker and in nearly new condition!
