This is a very rare music box of Fidelio, thriving in business between 1895-1910 until the founder decided to move forward with smaller items such as the phonograph and radio. Housed in a superb mahogany cabinet with two hand carved columns flanked between the reverse glass and features hand carved cherubs across the top. The musical movements are Swiss made, incorporated with a German armoire. The interior contains three fascinating little gentlemen, ringing the 6 bells while the music is being played. The cylinders are inter-changeable. There is very minor wear throughout and the comb has no broken teeth, stunning for its age. Includes 3 rolls with six songs each.
Condition: (Excellent).
Item Dimensions: 75"T x 33"W x 17"D.
