Comprising: A) Steel blade of familiar form and ornately-carved figural ivory handle showing great detail. Blade has some deep corrosion and losses along edge. Handle is very good with a pleasing yellow patina with some crazing and cracks due to age. B) Large Burmese Dah with large single-fuller on each side and partial false edge on top, decorated with brass inlaid lines on each side and on top of spine. Carved ivory figural hilt with silver ferrule at bottom and silver cap on top. Blade has been polished bright and shows some wear, freckling and some nicks to edge. Hilt retains a nice yellow patina with some minor crazing and darker patina in protected areas. Silver ferrule shows some denting and bends. A very decorative piece.
