Standard U.S. military issue revolver during the Civil War. Nearly every main part on this weapon is inspector stamped. Left walnut grips is stamped with inspector cartouche "B.H." in a rectangle (Benjamin Hannis). It is a six shot, percussion single action with octagon barrel and brass trigger guard. Gun is basically all grey patina. Grips are very good to excellent. Indexes fine and locks up tight. Visible rifling.
