This is the Regina music box with a patent date starting 1889. It is Style 11 No. 64180, plays 15-1/2 inch discs and is from the Salesroom Regina Building, New York in Chicago, Illinois as read on the original laminated paper marquee included within. It is housed in a mahogany cabinet, complete with a 6-1/2 inch single comb. There is a "Slow" and "Fast" option with a "Stop" button. The beautiful interior lithograph, "Copyright 1896" shows slight water damage and the top wooden piece is missing. There is wear throughout and requires maintenance to play but the music box itself is outstanding and was the most popular of all the Reginas until after the early 20th century. Includes two discs.
