Manufactured 1923. Offered is a standard takedown rifle in the popular .30-06 caliber. Features full round barrel, base and slotted front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, takedown, blued finish, walnut stocks, rifle butt and sling swivels. Barrel retains approximately 98% brilliant factory blue finish. Frame, lever and magazine retain approximately 80% original factory blue with the balance simply flaked to brown patina (not from use). Razor sharp edges and legends. Excellent to near mint walnut stocks are proud to metal with no cracks or chips, retains the majority of the original finish with just a few light dings. 50% original blue on buttplate with balance flaked. Nearly 100% factory brilliant blue finish on bolt. Fine action. Strong, near mint rifled bore. A fine original, lightly used, high condition Model '95 in the very desirable .30-06 takedown configuration. Factory research states serial number applied August 5th, 1920.
