Manufactured 1928. Standard features include full round barrel, post and blade front sight, 700 yard military rear sight, walnut hand guard, grooved walnut forend, single barrel band with sling stud, blued finish, saddle ring and stud, walnut stock, sling eye in stock, and carbine buttplate. Barrel retains approximately 85% original factory blue with some storage rubs and muzzle wear. Frame and magazine retain approximately 70% original blue, some still brilliant. Walnut stocks are excellent with a couple of very minor dings and a small sliver repair on right side at wrist and frame. Bolt has nearly all of its original high polish blue finish. Bridge is stamped ".30 ARMY". 60% blue on trapdoor buttplate. Fine action. Strong, clean rifled bore. Far above average 1895 carbine in great caliber.
