Manufactured post-1920. One of the great rarities of Winchester collecting is the Baby Saddle Ring Carbine. Most collectors have not seen or even heard of an example. Features the 16 - 1/2" full round barrel, low wall with blued finish, saddle ring and stud, Lyman 1907 right side mounted musket style peep sight, no provision for rear sight, dovetail front sight, walnut stock and carbine butt. Winchester address printed dead center on left side. The barrel is a homogeneous blue patina blend with traces of bright factory blue. Bottom of barrel is stamped "No. 4". Ebony tip has been nicely repaired. Walnut stocks are excellent. Side of frame retain approximately 85% bright factory blue. Strong, rifled bore and fine action. This is the first Trapper Model Low Wall we have seen.
