In 1982 Iver Johnson produced a dead ringer of the World War II M1 Carbine. Approximately 10,000 were manufactured. It is a near exact copy of a late-war carbine with the later style rear sight, box magazine, military type blue finish, wood stock and canvas sling. Special wood etching on right side of stock "D DAY OMAHA BEACH". This fun little carbine is as new inside and out. Comes in the original special marked box as well as shipping box.
