This shotgun was originally manufactured in 1891 with 30" Damascus barrels. All matching serial numbers including forend. Damascus barrels features full rib, single bead, mirror bores. Rings true. Beautiful Damascus pattern with no dents or repairs. The second pair of barrels was made by E.H. Lander, Nitro proofed with 2 - 3/4" chamber, blued finish, matted rib and retaining nearly all of their blued finish. Forearm has Deeley release. Stock is pistol grip, checkered, with dog head buttplate. Stocks are beautifully refinished in near mint condition. Frame has typical G grade engraving with pheasant on right side, ducks on left and pheasants at base with traces of case colors in hidden area. 70% original blue on engraved trigger guard. Twin triggers. Owner's plaque at base of stock. Locks up tight as new. The newly made set of barrels allows this shotgun to be used with smokeless shells and the original barrels for display or black powder shooting. This shotgun is housed in a canvas and leather hard carry case.
