Manufactured 1886. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, and deluxe pistol grip checkered stock and forend. Barrel retains approximately 85% factory blue mixing with patina and some age freckling. Frame retains approximately 70% original factory high polish blue, balance turning brown patina. Walnut stocks really need some help to make this a nice, honest '81. The forearm checkering is almost completely gone with a couple of hairline cracks. Buttstock is missing a sliver at top right. Left wrist has been recheckered, but not finished and right side is almost worn smooth with a wood putty repair running the length of the right tang. No buttplate. Scarce double set triggers. Working. Rear sight needs an elevator. Strong rifling. If one could restore or replace the stock, this would be a fine '81 Deluxe.
