This is an electro-mechanical pinball machine, manufactured by Gottlieb in 1951 with only 1,800 produced. It was the first game of Gottlieb to incorporate drop targets and a safety between flippers. The pop bumpers become animated along with the backglass when in operation. The artwork throughout is by Roy Parker, featuring significant pieces of Black Americana history. The exterior displays wear with the interior field showing indications of paint loss nearing the center. One key is provided.
