Cast iron fire hydrant, manufactured by Rennselaer Valve Mfg. Co. which is located in New York and began producing as early as the 1880's.. This L-90A product, model 1452 dates back to 1945 because of the placement of the nozzles and the 5" valve opening. The fire hydrant is vast in weight and has lost most of its yellow enamel, displaying patina and oxidation throughout.
