This can of Old Black Joe Dark Axle Grease was produced during the 1920s by Yale Oil Corporation of Miles City and Billings, Montana. It is made of tin and shows a depiction of "Old Black Joe" at the center. It is able to hold up to 10 pounds of fluid. There is considerable wear throughout with indications of erosion and denting.
