Standard Mauser 98 K bolt action Nazi marked military rifle that is comprised of mix numbered original parts: Stock No. 4005, bolt No. 7187, safety No. 1572 and No 8776, frame No. 3269, front barrel band No. 5943. Left side of frame is stamped "MODEL 98". Left side of bridge has Nazi eagle and letter D. Bridge is stamped with Nazi eagle "BCD/AR (Mauser)" (Wilhelm Gustloff Werk-Weimar). Left side of barrel stamped "CYW" (unknown). The scope mount has the Waffenamt stamp with "DUV" (Lubeck plant). Scope is an original ZF-41 "CLB" stamp with post optic and is cloudy; removable eyepiece shroud has dent. Right side of barrel has Nazi eagle. Standard military sight beneath scope. All metal is a grey blue patina. Laminate stock is excellent with cupped steel buttplate. Strong, rifled bore and fine action.
