This beautiful, custom handmade rifle was built by John Bolliger and is signed on right side barrel breech. The barrel has nearly full length milled flutes with a 2" muzzle brake and built with no sights. The bolt is completely jeweled and the knob is hand-checkered and stippled on all five panels. Built using the double stock reinforcing bolts. The exhibition grade straight comb pistol grip walnut stock is checkered and carved in the most exquisite pattern, utilizing stylized Fleur-de-Lis and tipped with an ebony forend. Sling eyes are set in reinforcement blued metal ovals. There is no pistol grip cap, rather the lower tang extends to the bottom of the pistol grip to a skeletal grip cap with exposed wood finely checkered. Has a black rubber buttplate. The upper tang extends up and over the comb ending wit a Fleur-de-Lis shaped design. Right side of the stock has a rollover comb. such exquisite craftsmanship could sport no less of a quality scope than a Swarovski 2x5x15 Z6 finished in matte blue. The custom mounts resemble early German claw mounts but fit flush. About the only flaw that we can find on this entire rifle is a very small 1/4" dent at the angled loading port section of the stock. Rifle is in near new condition inside and out. The quality of workmanship exhibited in unparalleled.
