Heavy rifled octagonal barrel with hooded adjustable front sight and adjustable rear peep sight. Top flat marked "G.R. DOUGLAS .50 CAL." Flat unmarked percussion lock and double set triggers. Plain brass furniture. Heavy plain maple stock with bench slot towards muzzle, on bottom. Barrel and lock retain a dark brown finish with some freckling on surface. Excellent shiny bore. Brass unpolished and stock has a few scattered marks from use. Would be a very accurate bench rifle!
