Manufactured 1903. This popular little Winchester remains in far better than average condition for these often misused and abused rifles. The octagon barrel and tube retain approximately 90% of the original factory blue with razor sharp edges and legends. Left side of frame retains approximately 85% bright Winchester blue mixing with some patina under the finish; right side has approximately the same amount. 95% bright blue on bolt. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal with traces of blue on buttplate. Period tang sight added. Exceptionally clean, strong bore; another rarity in these rifles. All Model 1890s are takedown.
