Manufactured in 1965. Round blued superposed barrels with vented matte rib and single white bead, breeches engraved with chiseled foliage scrolls. Blued and gold inlaid boxlock actions featuring detailed Midas grade engraving, including chiseled relief scrolls and scene of three gold inlaid and engraved pheasants in flight on the left side surrounded by a gold inlaid border, the other side with three gold inlaid ducks in flight with borders en suite. The bottom features a gold inlaid grouse, surrounded by relief scrolls and triggerguard bow with a blank shield. Both sides of action signed by Browning master engraver "JL" for Jacquez Lodewyc. Features include single gold plated trigger, long tang, ejectors, and non-automatic thumb safeties/barrel selector. Highly figured varnished walnut stocks with flat knob and Browning brown recoil pad. Shaped checkered panels around wrist and on forearm. Excellent condition, showing little use, overall. Barrels retain 98% plus blue finish with very light wear from forearm. Excellent shiny bores. Action retains nearly all of blued finish. Trigger retains all of gilt finish. Stock very good with a few light storage marks and small nicks. This is an nicely engraved Belgian-made Browning!
