These shotguns are custom made to order and are considered some of the best handcrafted shotguns made. Twin blued barrels with single brass bead and solid matte rib, barrels marked "ACCIAIO 30 CR MO 4/FLLI PIOTTI ITALY". Scalloped stainless steel boxlock actions, profusely engraved and shaded with roses and foliate scrolls, signed on bottom by "W. Patelli", a master engraver who also engraves for Perazzi. Triggerguard bow and tang engraved en suite, gold-inlaid serial number. Features include single trigger, ejectors, and non-automatic safeties. Fine circassian walnut straight English buttstock with oil finish, checkered panels around wrist, leather-wrapped buttpad, and vacant gold escutcheon on bottom. Checkered splinter forearm of circassian walnut, engraved Anson release. Complete with light brown leather Nittroli hard case with partitioned interior lined with green cashmere. Accessories include snap caps, wood and brass cleaning rod, and oil bottle. Brown leather label inside lid reads "F.lli Piotti/Gardone V.T. Brescia Italy." Excellent condition, showing very little use. Barrels retain nearly all of blue finish, right barrel with some light scuffing on top, near muzzle. Bores are excellent and shiny, actions are tight and crisp. Stocks excellent. Exterior of case shows a few light storage marks. A very fine and high-quality double barrel shotgun.
