An exact example of this carbine can be seen on page 98 in the "Standard Catalog of Winchester Firearms". The carbine is quite scarce. Features a full round barrel, sporting front sight, Lyman 48 rear sight, plain walnut pistol grip half stock with finger groove forend, sling swivels and steel shotgun buttplate. Barrel bridge sight is filled. Barrel has approximately 50% blue, balance grey. 90% frame matte blue. Stock is excellent. 30% blue on floorplate and trigger guard. Fine action. Strong, rifled bore.
