Manufactured 1881. This late production carbine features full round barrel, full magazine, double barrel bands, post front sight, two leaf folding rear sight, brass frame, walnut stock, saddle ring and stud, and brass carbine buttplate. Barrel tube and bands are basically grey-brown patina; have been cleaned with scattered pitting, address partially readable. Brass was cleaned at some time. There is pitting on the bolt, lever, trigger and loading gate. A few replaced screws. Wood has been refinished. Stock has a repaired piece on left side at wrist. Very good action. Visible rifling.
