Manufactured 1923. Features round barrel, sporting sights, takedown, brass cartridge counter, blued finish, checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forend, checkered steel Savage logo buttplate, and added sling swivels. Popular early rifle in very desirable caliber. Barrel features 95% original factory blue with a hint of thinning. Frame retains 90% original factory blue with some carry wear on bottom of frame. Walnut stocks are excellent with sharp checkering, no wrist cracks, proud to metal, and excellent all original finish. 50% case colors on lever, some bright. Untouched screws. Original tang sight. Strong clean bore. Beautiful little early takedown with lots of condition in popular caliber.
