Standard features include octagon barrel, tube fed magazine, sporting sights, takedown, blued finish, walnut stock and shotgun butt. Barrel and tube retain approximately 75% blue mixing with patina. 75% brilliant blue on both sides of the frame. Traces of color on hammer and lever. Really nice metal overall but stocks are problematic. Buttstock has numerous dents, chipped at heel, chip at right wrist, crack and right comb, and a crack on forearm. Manufactured 1895 to 1916. Fine action. Strong, rifled bore. With attention to the stock problems, this rifle has nice metal and deserves some TLC, especially given the scarce .22 rimfire cartridge.
