According to factory letter, this rifle was shipped September 10th, 1887 with a 28" No. 2 octagon barrel, plain trigger in scarce .44-40 caliber. All metal is a grey-brown patina. Sports standard factory sights. Excellent walnut stock with no cracks or repairs. Fine action. Strong, clean rifling. Rarely do you see a Hi-Wall in this low powered handgun cartridge.
