Manufactured 1907. This short rifle features octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stock and steel shotgun buttplate. Has the .32 Smokeless rear sight. Flat muzzle is not blued. Front sight is set back 1" on center. Walnut forend measures 9 - 3/8". Barrel and tube retains approximately 85% original blue starting to thing. Frame is basically grey patina. 75% blue on loading gate and bolt. Stocks are very good to excellent, proud to metal with some added varnish. Right side of stock has a 1" compass inset. Sports sling eyes, hooks and primitive sling. Strong rifled bore. Factory research only lists serial number date as December 9th, 1908. Short rifle cannot be verified by factory.
