Manufactured 1911. Features part octagon barrel, half magazine, takedown, special 1901 smokeless rear sight, blued finish, pistol grip cap, checkered deluxe walnut stocks with rifle butt and added tang rear sight. Constitutes five special features to include the standing globe front sight. Barrel and tube retain approximately 85% original factory blue. Approximately 85% blue on left side of frame and 60% on right side of frame. Buttstock has extra grain, checkering shows some wear but is overall excellent, and proud to metal with no cracks. Very good action and strong near mint bore. an extremely handsome deluxe Winchester chambered for the scarcest of all calibers in this rifle and seldom seen in an early deluxe model. Factory research indicates serial number applied June 26th, 1912. No other information available.
