Manufactured 1887. This second year production rifle features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, walnut stock and rifle butt. Barrel and tube retain approximately 60-70% original factory blue blending with brown patina. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal. Traces of case colors on hammer. Case colors on frame are gun metal grey having been cleaned to a shiny metal finish with some patterns. 80% blue on loading gate. Traces of blue on bolt. No colors on lever. Strong rifle bore and fine action.
