Manufactured 1897. This revolver was original blue and case colored but is now basically a soft brown-grey patina with sharp markings. Never refinished. Has a hint of color. Brown straps and dulled Colt hard rubber grips. Sharp legends on barrel, two patent dates on left side. Smokeless style frame. Strong rifling with minor abrasion. Indexes and locks up tight as new. Very clean example of an honest Colt Single Action Army.
