These were manufactured 1859 to 1868. It is a five shot with roll engraved cylinder of five decorative panels of which outlines are visible but the scenes are not. Matching numbers on butt, trigger guard, frame, wedge, barrel and back of cylinder. 30% plating on trigger guard. Traces on backstrap. Top of barrel marked "MANHATTAN FIREARMS NEWARK NJ". Strong visible rifling with usual light black powder abrasion. Cylinder does not index. Balance of metal is grey patina with sharp legends.
