Measures about 14" in height. Wood construction with skin heads, one torn and warped. Wood bands around top and bottom feature red paint, one broken. Body of drum features a patriotic eagle with shield, clutching arrows and two American flags in both talons against a blue background. White "Gettysburg" added below decoration at a later time. Back of drum decorated with faux grain painted surface and brass tacks. Rope and leather are absent. Drum was repainted during period of use and has some losses to paint overall. This would be a magnificent drum if restored, would be worth the effort!
