Henry Deringer Silver Mounted Commemorative Pistol set. A limited edition reproduction of Deringer's cased pistol set made, by Uberti in Italy for the U.S. Historical Society, commissioned in 1978. This set includes: rosewood handled nipple wrench and screwdriver, a bullet mold, a brass and steel ramrod, silver pistol flask. Engraved silver mounts, blued barrels with Deringer markings and gold barrel bands. Casehardened locks with Deringer markings. These are very accurate copies of original Deringers! Complete with original leather and gilt-decorated book box with a fitted burgundy velour interior, front of book marked "DERINGER" and title on spine "DERINGER/U.S./HISTORICAL/SOCIETY. Excellent condition, some tarnishing to mounts and cover of case has some scuffing and storage marks.
