This frame was manufactured in 1918. Barrel is dated "6-18", "SA" with bomb, and the letter "A" to indicate a replacement barrel. All metal has been parkerized. Features walnut stock with two reinforcing bolts, thin gripping grooves, sight groove hand guard, swept bolts. Rear sight has early dish knobs. Stock is a replacement with no cartouche. A 1913 Warner-Swasey World War I sniper scope has been properly attached; outside scope body has been restored, has a reproduction rubber eye piece, standard crosshairs with better than average clean optics. Rifle has all milled parts. Stock has been refinished to near mint. TE reading: 1. ME reading: +2. Nice example of a remade World War I sniper rifle using original 1918 parts and an original scope.
