These rifles were produced for the French government. Sports a full length walnut stock, middle barrel band has a large sling swivel, bayonet lug underneath, military post and rear sights. Left side if of frame is stamped "REMINGTON Mle 1907-15", on the right side of the barrel is stamped "R.A.C." and features a commercial type blue finish. Several thousand were manufactured but most were rejected by the French government and later sold through the NRA. Many like this example are found in excellent or better condition. This example retains approximately 85% original blue finish. Bolt is in the white. Walnut stock is excellent with a few usual impressions. Strong, clean bore and fine action. Extremely fine condition all original World War I era Remington Berthier.
