Barrel is stamped "SA (bomb) 4-22". This is a very early 1922 dated National Match style Springfield Model 1903. Features the Star Gauge barrel, serrated trigger, full coarse checkered trapdoor buttplate with oiler. Walnut stock features double stock bolts, wide finger groove, sight groove hand guard. Polished rails, matte blue-black finish, 2,700 yard rear sight with flat knobs. Left side of stock has "J.F.C." inspector stamp (James F. Coyle). All milled parts. No proof "P" at base. No rebuild marks. Frame and barrel retain a majority of their factory finish. This serial number places receiver at 1922. Matching barrel.
