Serial No. 14802 is stamped on left side of barrel. 7631 stamped on left side of stock. No number on bolt. No other visible serial numbers. Left side of frame is stamped "MOD 98". Standard World War II military Mauser. Metal is grey patina. Stock is laminated. "MUB" stamp on floorplate. Right side of frame has Waffenamt. Reproduction high turret mounts have been installed and rifle wear a Sornet 4x36 German scope with thick line and post near mint optics. Stock is excellent. Fine bore and action. Should be a fun shooting World War II sniper type Mauser rifle using precision reproduction quick release mounts with 85% original blue.
