Manufactured 1921. This standard full octagon barrel takedown rifle has seen only light use. Barrel and tube retain approximately 95% original factory blue, thinning on high edges of octagon with a couple minor storage marks and very little takedown wear. 30% original blue on forend cap. 20% blue on takedown ring. 90% blue on frame. All screw heads are near mint. 98% blue on bolt. 95% blue on loading gate. Blue on sides of lever. Wood is excellent, proud to metal with no cracks or chips, just a couple of minor impressions. Traces of blue of buttplate. Fine action. Strong, clean, near mint bore. An extremely fine, classic takedown 1894.
