Comprising: A) Civil War period infantry Captains frock coat of blue wool with green lining. Complete with shoulder bars and convex gilt brass eagle buttons, backs marked Horstmann. Very good condition with some minor moth damage and some areas of minor wear or staining. Lining has a few small tears. Overall, a very nice frock coat. B) Purple officer's sash of silk with some fading and insect damage. C) U.S. Model 1851 officers brass belt plate and black leather belt, complete with straps and sword hangers. Brass retains a dark patina and details are crisp. Leather with some minor crazing and marks. The condition of wool, buttons, and belt are all consistent. This is a very complete Civil War ensemble in very good condition, displays very well.
