Frame was built June 1944 to September 1944. Has a Springfield Armory 1950 dated barrel. Near mint replacement walnut stock with no cartouches. Gun retains virtually all of its reapplied arsenal matte finish. Has an early war-era lock-bar rear sight. Bolt is stamped "6528287-SA A14". This rifle remains in excellent to near mint condition inside and out as rebuilt for Korea. ME reading: 2+. Fine rifling and action. Comes with a green canvas sling.
