Barrel is stamped "SA (bomb) 10-11". The frame is this rifle was built in 1904, second year production. Barrel is dated 1911. Metal has been refinished in a green matte parkerized World War II finish. Features the early wide finger groove two bolt walnut stock, later sight groove walnut hand guard, World War II flat sight discs, and straight bolt. Left side of stock has World War II rebuild stamp, "P" in circle on wrist. Frame retains the majority of its later parkerized finish. Barrel is brown patina. All milled parts. Wood is in very good condition with usual war dings. Comes with an 03 type sling with brass frogs. TE reading: 3. ME reading: 2. Fine rifling and action. Fine, typical World War II rebuild.
