Gun (A) is a Smith & Wesson No. 1 Third Issue and features round barrel with rib, sevens hot, single action, spur trigger with walnut bird's head grips. Retains approximately 98% original nickel with just a couple spots. Grips are excellent. Indexes and locks up perfectly. String, rifled bore. Gun (B) is a Smith & Wesson No. 1 Second Issue sevens hot, single action, spur trigger revolver with an octagon barrel with rib and saw handle grip with walnut grips. Brass flatside frame is nickel plated. Cylinder and barrel are blued. All blue is turning grey patina. 50% original plating. Original grips are very good with chip on left panel. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong, visible rifling. It one could acquire the rare First Issue, you would have a collection of each model.
