This is a First Model made from 1893 to 1905. Has a 5/8" threaded barrel end for indoor shooting parlor silencer. The Paine front sight sits at outer edge of rib. Canadian proof marks on frame and barrel. It is a single shot top break made on revolver frame with intact recoil shield and Smith & Wesson black hard rubber extension grips, factory high polish blue finish and case colored hammer and trigger guard. This pistol remains in beautiful condition retaining approximately 80% of the brilliant Smith & Wesson factory blue with the balance simply flaked. Generous case colors on hammer and trigger guard. Excellent grips. Strong rifled bore with minor abrasion.
