Standard blued finish with detachable box magazine, military sights, double bands, full length walnut stock, carbine style butt, sling swivels and cleaning rod. The Navy Model is stamped on the bridge "USN, (anchor) 1354 W.W.K." (William W. Kimball, a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy). This scarce rifle is in excellent all original condition. All metal is a smooth soft patina with no pitting. Razor sharp markings. Wood is excellent with a few minor bumps and great eye appeal. Fine action. Strong, rifled bore.
