Manufactured 1902. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, Winchester sporting rear sight, broken Beaches front sight, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, walnut stocks and rifle butt. These rifles are notorious for their usual less than desirable condition, but this example retains a generous amount of original finish. Barrel and tube retains approximately 80-85% original factory blue with razor sharp brown high with some patina showing through. Nose cap is brown patina. Frame retains 65-75% original high polish Winchester factory blue finish with some typical finish serration lines on left sideplate. Colors have basically darkened on hammer and lever. Stocks are extremely nice, proud to metal in untouched all original finish. Left side of barrel at breech does have a small flattened hammer spot and a couple of carved letters approximately 1" that simply look like little teepees. By far one of the better condition examples we have seen. Fine action. Visible rifling.
