Manufactured 1929. This deluxe Winchester features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, blued finish with checkered walnut stocks and rifle butt. Barrel and tube retain approximately 97% original factory blue with sharp edges and legends. Right side of frame retains approximately 20%, balance brown patina. Loading gate retains 90% of the bright Nitre blue, which would indicate light use, and most of the frame finish loss in from flaking; balance is a smooth blue-brown patina. Left side of frame has approximately 35% blue with the balance brown patina. Forend cap retains 75% bright blue. Buttplate has approximately 75% original blue. Wood is excellent to near mint with razor sharp checkering. Fine action. Strong, clean bore. According to factory research, this rifle falls into a gap of missing research and no information is available.
